Has anyone else noticed that someone keeps dumping large amounts of trash at the same spot on Mt. Vernon (between Arlington Terrace and Farrington Ave.)? A few weeks ago it was a huge pile of tree branches and brush. Now it is 2 mattresses and some chunks of concrete. Is there anything that can be done to keep people from using this spot as a dump? I am going to call special pick up for the mattresses but I would like to see this stop happening.

I would contact Georgie and maybe the police can be notified. Any strange vehicles should be reported. Can neighbors watch during the day? |

Someone from Hyland's office just called me, they are contacting VDOT about getting the mattresses, etc. picked up.
